Homecoming week was filled with many exciting games, including mini challenges that happened throughout the day. On Sunday night, the junior girls took home a win in powderpuff football.
Monday’s games were big boy pants and mystery drink, where seniors took first place in both.
The mini game on Tuesday was matching the teacher with the parent which the juniors won. Tuesday’s game was memory match where the freshmen took first place.
Wednesday’s mini game was to build the biggest paper chain you can with your class. The juniors won that mini game by making a paper chain that was over 800 feet long. Wednesday’s game was a violent game of musical chairs in which the seniors won. On Wednesday night, the seniors took home another win in boy’s volleyball.
Thursday was balloon pop pie in which the Juniors won. Balloon pop pie is a relay race in which students had to pop the balloon in four different ways with their partner, once all the students from their class had popped the balloons then another student from their class would eat a pie and look for a gummy worm. The mini game that was introduced on Monday and continued through Thursday was a scavenger hunt that left seniors in first place.
On Friday during the pep assembly, the junior girls took first place in girls Tug-o-War and the senior boys won the boys Tug-o-War. After counting all of the submitted money from the past week, seniors took home the win with sophomores trailing close behind.
After collecting all of the submitted food drive items, it was determined that juniors won overall. At the end of the week, it was announced that the senior class earned the most points throughout the week and took home the overall win.
